Follo is the folded evolution of Rollo - a Roman blind that brings the softness of Woven Washi together with architectural precision. Its structured folds make a light, contemporary window treatment that settles as naturally into a classical room as a minimalist one.

Woven Washi reveals delicate textures and subtle patterns that play with light in ever-changing ways. Rooted in the centuries-old tradition of Japanese washi paper, its natural hues expand the sense of space while wrapping the interior in warmth, serenity and timeless calm.

Horizontal ribs articulate and separate the segments, drawing on the Japanese principle of modular spatial organisation. Their linear rhythm gives the blind structure and balance - a quiet dialogue between tradition and modern design.

  • Operation & control

    For comfort and adaptability, Follo is available with manual or motorised control. Raise and lower it by chain, by remote, or from your phone - including a fully integrated battery motor that needs no wiring, ideal for existing interiors.

    A manual chain can be white with a metal chain, or black one with a dark metal chain - positioned left or right. Motorised options include a 230 V drive (with or without receiver) and a built-in, wire-free battery motor with integrated receiver, each compatible with remote control and smart-home / app integration. All chain-operated systems include a chain-separating safety mechanism in line with European standard EN 13120. (Minimum width for motorised versions: 75 cm.)

Profiles, ribs & segments

The ribs and profiles are design and functional elements in one, giving each screen its rhythm and structure. Ribs are available in aluminium, aluminium colours and aluminium wood, and can be finished in any RAL colour on request. Top and bottom ribs are 25 mm; intermediate ribs 10 mm. Intermediate segments share a single height between 27 and 44 cm. In projects that combine several Wood & Washi solutions, the ribs of Rollo, Panel, Banner and Flow can be configured to match Follo’s segment height - for one coherent material language across the whole space.

Installation

Light and elegant, Follo is a refined alternative to drapes and heavy curtains, with the flexibility to suit any interior. Mount to the ceiling or to the wall; the brackets click neatly into place. Because Follo is constructed top-down, adjacent units can be coupled side by side to extend the effective width across wide openings. Woven Washi is available up to 300 cm wide.
